Training and Development of Our Personnel

DeepOcean has a philosophy of investing in personnel training and development and has a dedicated training facility.

DeepOcean actively promotes the following philosophy and services to all personnel with much emphasis on competence:

  • A clear/varied career path to potential new and existing employees
  • Personnel development/welfare via structured internal and external software/theory training, seminars and discussion groups
  • Encourage multi-skill/cross-training to aid the above with respect to variety offered and team playing/integration. This increases personnel’s knowledge of DeepOcean’s integrated software process
  • Continual personnel assessments via training and offshore performance/competency programmes (DeepOcean is member of IMCA) and via one-to-one line manager sessions to provide details through which the individual can improve and achieve higher standards/role within the company

The above elements ensure that DeepOcean provides clients with highly motivated, skilled and competent personnel.

DeepOcean is proactivly addressing the current personnel shortage and the aging workforce challenge within the industry via its annual recruitment drives and outreach initiatives to raise industry awareness, both at local, national and international level.
