Deep Ocean can provide extensive engineering and design support for the planning and execution of offshore and subsea operations in deep water down to 3000 meters. The backbone of a successful subsea team is international experience combined with a good local knowledge and ability to adapt to new circumstances. Our personnel are experienced in developing and undertaking innovative solutions to ever more complex and deeper located operational challenges to the satisfaction of our customers.
DeepOcean can offer a flexible and well experience staff of offshore and onshore support personnel as well as a significant engineering and project management resource base.
DeepOcean’s Engineering Department is located in our main-office in Haugesund, Norway. Engineers recruited locally are in addition employed in regional and project-offices located around the world where required.
DeepOcean’s project managers have experience of managing small and large size projects fulfilling safe and timely completion to the satisfaction of operators and main contractors.

The Engineering Department performs the engineering activities and provides the innovative solutions for the offshore operations performed from DeepOcean ROV vessels. This includes everything from interface and set-up of the vessels, design and fabrication of installation aids and required equipment, operational planning and engineering, technical collaboration with client and sub-contractors, as well as being part of the offshore team that is performing the work. The Engineering Department is involved in all the processes from the beginning to the end of the project to ensure that the work is carried out safely, efficiently and in a cost effective manner.
An engineering team for a typical offshore project will consist of engineers from most of the above categories, depending on the scope of the project. The number of engineers in the team will also vary dependent on the work load and requirement. A Lead Engineer will typically be in charge of the engineering team nominated for the project.
