Junior Equipment Technician Programme

Junior Equipment Technicians will embark on a structured training and competency programme, which will provide them with both practical and theoretical training.

The Programme duration is one year and will involve:

  • An introduction to the Company
  • Specific HSEQS training (including offshore survival and medical)
  • ROV pilot training
  • Practical exercises
  • Classroom based teaching
  • Peer assisted learning
  • Competency Assessments

All of CTC's offshore employees are enrolled onto the CTC Competency Scheme, which is set to IMCA standards. As a trainee they will be expected to complete all of their specified competencies in the first year with CTC, being supported by their offshore supervisor and internal mentor.

Requirements

  • Electrical, Hydraulic or Mechanical experience (HNC or equivalent)
  • The ability to work globally

As well as the above skills, CTC's Junior Equipment Technicians should exhibit the following qualities:

  • Good communication skills with both internal and external clients
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Drive and enthusiasm
  • Will to succeed
