Junior Equipment Technician Programme
Junior Equipment Technicians will embark on a structured training and competency programme, which will provide them with both practical and theoretical training.
The Programme duration is one year and will involve:
- An introduction to the Company
- Specific HSEQS training (including offshore survival and medical)
- ROV pilot training
- Practical exercises
- Classroom based teaching
- Peer assisted learning
- Competency Assessments
All of CTC's offshore employees are enrolled onto the CTC Competency Scheme, which is set to IMCA standards. As a trainee they will be expected to complete all of their specified competencies in the first year with CTC, being supported by their offshore supervisor and internal mentor.
Requirements
- Electrical, Hydraulic or Mechanical experience (HNC or equivalent)
- The ability to work globally
As well as the above skills, CTC's Junior Equipment Technicians should exhibit the following qualities:
- Act safely and responsibly at all times
- Good communication skills with both internal and external clients
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Drive and enthusiasm
- Will to succeed
