The company was established in 1999 and is founded on the provision of high quality equipment and services combined with a team of highly experienced personnel with knowledge of deepwater operations worldwide.

Today, DeepOcean is a truly international company with projects in the North Sea, Mediterranean, West Africa, Brazil, Southeast Asia and the Gulf of Mexico. It is headquartered in Haugesund (Norway) and supports its overseas contracts through regional facilities in Aberdeen, Norwich (United Kingdom), Den Helder (The Netherlands), Ciudad del Carmen (Mexico) and Macae (Brazil).

CTC Marine Projects was established in 1996 as a private limited company in the Northeast of England, UK. CTC’s initial core business was the provision of fibre optic cable lay and burial solutions for the global telecommunication market. Later, the company diversified and added trenching services for the North Sea oil and gas industry.

CTC Marine Project’s experience goes far back. The company was one of the first to bring a science (geotechnical) and engineering-based approach to its subsea projects.

Over the past 16 years, CTC Marine Projects has developed into a leading player in global oil and gas, telecommunication, offshore renewables and subsea defense markets with a service portfolio of thorough life support and engineering solutions including subsea trenching, flexible product installation, construction and decommissioning services. CTC Marine Projects has built a reputation for delivering successful and reliable performance in the most challenging applications based on our people, our technology experience and capability.

CTC Marine Projects opened an Asia-Pacific regional office in 2005, based in Singapore. The office now supports a strong team and is crucial in supporting CTC Marine Project’s operations in China, Asia and Australia.

Trico Offshore was incorporated in 1993 for provision of offshore supply and anchor handling services. Our operations are managed out of our Aberdeen offices and crewing is arranged from our Norwegian office.

DeepOcean Group History

Deep Ocean Group Holdings AS was formed in May of 2011. The Deep Ocean Group Holding AS has been formed following the merger of the IMR (inspection, maintenance and repair) services of DeepOcean, the subsea trenching and installation company CTC Marine Projects and the towing and supply services of Trico Offshore. These three divisions provide the company with a unique set of complementary skills and expertise which in turn have positioned Deep Ocean Group as a leading provider of diver-less subsea construction services and operations.
