Subsea Decommissioning - Kittiwake Loading Buoy Removal

Scope of Work:
DeepOcean provided the construction vessel equipped with 2 off WROV-systems, associated equipment and personnel together with onshore engineering and project management services.
The DeepOcean scope of work consisted of as follows:
- Removal of 8 off 1100m long anchor lines
- Handover of the loading buoy to tug vessels
- Removal of 2 off flexible risers and of 1 off control umbilical
- Removal of mid-water arch including clump weights
- Removal of PLEM
- Removal of concrete mattresses
- Removal and plugging of rigid spool
The project with a total removal of approx 750 Te of subsea structures was successfully completed, in shorter time than scheduled without any injuries to neither personnel nor equipment.
